I love interesting mail boxes. In Oman, they are designed in the replica of a "Khanjar", an Omani traditional dagger. The Khanjar is worn as ornamental these days!
Once when hubby and a friend where looking to mail letters in another country, one was looking for a square blue American mailbox, while the other was looking for round red British postbox!
