40 things I love about Oman #34 Bus Stops!
In Muscat there are plenty of modern highways. I love the architecture in Oman and how everyday things like bus stops are built uniquely and with the idea of making the city pleasing to the eye. This is one of the many bus stops throughout the city of Muscat. Keeping in mind that daytime temperatures reach well into the 100 degrees, these shelters made from stone are essential for those taking taxis or buses around the city.
If traveling to other cities or the neighboring country of the United Arab Emirates, this is the type of bus stops you will find and the scenery that awaits you as exit the city. It is quite different from where we are from-no rest areas and very few gas stations!
