I have this strange love for Palm Trees-no idea where it came from but looking at them makes me feel quite happy! In Oman there is an abundance of Date Palm trees. Dates are a staple in the Omani diet. At certain times of year you will see the palm trees laden with fruit. Often the date palm farmers will enclose the fruit as it ripens, with nets, in order to catch the fruit.
One day when I get to collate all my photos there will be an album with the Kiddos by all the palm trees that I have made them have their photo taken next to!
