We had to move house 6 months ago! 3 houses in 3 years is not quite how we imagined our life back here. We had some serious mould issues in house #2 due to leaking pipes and it got so bad that it was no longer safe to live there. So here we are in another neighborhood which we are beginning to explore..
This is the view of the sand dunes from our house. They don't look that high..until we started to climb them!
Along the way we were on the search for anything green and unique!
Not quite green but the funky remains of a dead tree destroyed by the wind or some random camel!
I love how these trees grow in the sand! The Kiddos task was to find something unique..
Kiddo #2 found a goat bone..
Kiddo #3 what we think is a mushroom of some sort..
And the first Kiddo was happy to photograph this weird bug..
The views from the top were pretty good. We could have gone higher but the dunes are busy from afternoon til night with guys riding dune buggies and 4x4 vehicles so it became too dangerous to keep climbing with them coming across our path!
Coming down gave us great views of our neighbourhood..
We live at the foot of these amazing mountains!
And every morning we are woken with the sound of these lovelies!
I have this weird dream to one day live in a farm in the country, so this keeps me going for now...
