Ramadan Begins!

It was our goal to all be settled in Oman before Ramadan but as it has worked out we will be leaving August 13th! It has all come together really fast in the past couple of weeks. My Sweet has been busy getting as much of the house ready as he can. So far we have internet connection (top priority!) a stove, fridge and an American washing machine! After having two British ones that take hours to wash and beat the life out of the clothes, I was glad that an American made one was found!
The visa has finally come through! This is fantastic, so now we don't have to worry anymore about leaving the country every 3 months for "visa runs" like we did in our last Gulf country.
Our shipment still is in delay mode and now that Ramadan begins we won't know how long it will take to arrive. But I am just glad to be heading to Oman and to finally be together again as a family. When my Sweet left us in May, we has no idea that everything would take this long to come together. It has been a long 3 months.
So now we will be beginning afresh in Muscat. We have all been waiting for this day to come for a long time, so the excitement amongst the kiddos is rapidly rising as we can now countdown the days to our arrival.
