We've arrived!

The neighborhood we live in-this is behind our house

After months of planning and dreaming, it is finally a reality! We are all together in Oman. The journey was great. Emirates is a fantastic airline and the time passed quickly with lots of movies to watch for the kiddos. After a short layover in Dubai we arrived in Muscat in the early hours of the morning yesterday. 6 years to the day since we first had flights booked into Oman, we were returned. How bizarre is is that my Sweet had flights booked for this exact day without realizing it's significance!
Stepping off the plane at 4am into 30 degree (90F) heat was like reliving the past. The humidity envelopes you like a warm blanket. The same friend that picked us up 6 years ago was there again; to again welcome us home!


Walking through the doors of our new home indeed felt like we were truly home.The kiddos although tired were  excited to run through the whole house checking out our new place. What made it feel like we were truly home was two of our good friends stopped by to visit. It was like we had never left. Six years may have passed but in no time at all we feel we have come home.
