Finally!

Things are on the move in Oman! Our shipment is journeying from one desert place to another! Finally.
Finally things are coming together. For 18 months, the kiddos have been without their favorite toys. One of the hardest things about my illness was that we had to leave our last country in such a rush and right after Christmas, so they hardly got to play with their new things before everything had to be packed away. It will be wonderful for them to see all the things they have forgotten about. The only furniture we kept were the kiddos beds and a table that was passed down from my Sweet's grandma.
It got me thinking about how little we really need to live with. For 18 months we have had one suitcase each. I have pretty much worn out my one pair of jeans and my t-shirts and hoodies have lasted well! I am looking forward to starting over.
It will take time to replace all the furniture that we had no room to store and had to sell, but it will be a relief to have a fresh start. Saving up and getting a little a time makes me appreciate things more.
I will be glad to finally empty those suitcases and even though our new place will be sparse and empty looking for a while-it will be our home-and that is enough.
