If you can't say anything nice..

..don't say anything at all! A phrase we used on the kiddos, and sometimes still do. I have been absent from the blogger due to the fact that the craziness that life is here is sometimes best left unspoken and homeschooling is making for busy days.


So here is the last few weeks in bullets:

• visa ready to be completed but then one of the kiddos passports was found to expire in 6 months, so no visa can be issued in hers until there is a new one. 
• our visa applications have coincided with the holidays of Ramadan, Eid Al-Fitr, Eid Al-Ahda, National Day and now the Muslim New Year. 
• My Sweet's part time teaching has now been tripled due to a staff shortage.
• Found out Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day fall on work days here, so we have to move our Christmas to another Day!
• My Sweet and I had our first date night in over 7 months celebrating our belated American wedding Anniversary.
• The kiddos traveled to an Omani village for a sleepover with their friends.
• We got rugs in our family room-progress!
• Found a turkey for Thanksgiving celebration-thankfully Thursday is the first day of our weekend here.
• Homeschooling grades 7, 5 and 3 makes for busy days and not much time for blogging.
