Exploring new places

For the first time in seven months, My Sweet and I had the opportunity to have a date night. Our kiddos were invited to stay at a friend's house in the Omani town of Nizwa. A 90 minute drive from Muscat, made for a fun road trip. A highway all the way has made the drive an easy one. Driving through the mountains was just beautiful. Hours of uninteruppted talk time was priceless.

It's been 14 years since we had our American wedding celebration (one of 3!) so we took the chance to go to our favorite Anniversary dinner place. TGI Fridays has just opened here! Sadly there was none of my favorite Pork ribs due to Muslim customs-the beef ribs were not bad- but it was a great night none the less.
