SANDSTORM!!

It's been a while since I posted. Homeschooling the Kiddos is keeping me busy these days. This weekend was pretty eventful though! Out of nowhere a huge sandstorm hit us. These were frequent occurrences in our last country but here in the city they are pretty much unheard of.
We knew something was up when the satellite started acting up. About 4 in the afternoon the sky suddenly went a hazy orange color-a sure sign of a sandstorm approaching. It was so surreal to experience this again. Like tourists we ran up onto our roof and began taking photos! The kiddos got their goggles and sunglasses out and tried to enjoy the view..
